What we do

AI workshops, MVP prototyping, and second opinions

Three formats with a clear outcome, and a path for afterwards, when the prototype should become a product.

01 · Clarity

Technical Second Opinion

Send us your idea, plan, or existing app. We tell you what is feasible, where the risks are, and what we would consider the pragmatic next steps.

A good fit when a quote, a gut feeling, or an architecture decision needs an independent counter-view.

You are welcome to share the code or your full technical documentation with us. We sign an NDA as a matter of course.

02 · Something to test

MVP Coding Day

Your smallest functioning market test. We define and build the most important flow in your app or web idea. Afterwards a real test user can complete it independently, with real code, real logic, and a testable link or iOS build.

1 · Scoping, 1–3 hrs remote2 · Preparation3 · Coding day in Pfäffikon ZH4 · Deployment & handover

A core flow could be:
  • Upload a document → receive an AI analysis
  • Enter customer data → generate a quote as a PDF
  • Submit a request → notify the right specialist

We decide together during scoping what fits into one day.

A maximum of two people from your side join at the table, in a real startup, hands-on atmosphere. We barbecue: food and drinks are included, but feel free to bring whatever you really like.

A good fit when you have an app or web idea and want to know whether it holds up before weeks of development and budget go into it. Also when you need something tangible for user tests, stakeholders, or investors.

Less of a fit for multiple user roles, payment flows, migrations, or high security requirements. We clarify that before you book.

03 · Try it together

AI Workshop for teams

We navigate you through the AI buzzword noise and teach only what your business actually needs hands-on. We show what is possible today, where the opportunities and risks sit, and where the current limits are.

1 · Understand2 · Try3 · Build

No lecturing, no tool sales pitch, no certificate. We are happy to work with mock data or with your real company data. An NDA and confidentiality go without saying.

Prerequisite for the coding part: if your team wants to code along, participants should already have access to a current paid plan of ChatGPT or Claude. The free tiers are not enough to work through the coding session properly.

04 · Afterwards

When the MVP becomes a product

A coding day answers one question: does the idea hold up? If the test says yes, what comes next is not another day. It is weeks and months of development, operation, and support. For that we have worked for years with a steady circle of developers in Eastern Europe, mostly from Ukraine.

That is how Trafa.App was built: a full-scale startup product, roughly 1,300 hours of development work, not a one-day prototype.

If you would rather work directly with developers in Eastern Europe, we select the right people for a modest one-off fee, introduce them, and hand over the MVP. From there you have no further costs with us: you continue the project directly with the developers, all of whom speak English, and settle directly with them. If you prefer, we stay involved as the link and quality gate, handle the technical coordination in the developers' own language, and review the quality of what is delivered.

This is not anonymous outsourcing. If you want us to, we remain your contacts, take the technical lead, and review what gets delivered. Effort, team, and hourly rate are agreed with you transparently before anything starts.

  • 1 · Test: keep the prototype and first collect feedback from users, stakeholders, or investors.
  • 2 · Build independently: your internal team or another agency takes over the code, Git repository, and documentation.
  • 3 · Build with our network: we put the right team together for you.
  • Option A: work directly with the English-speaking developers and settle with them directly.
  • Option B: we stay the link and quality gate, coordinating in the developers' own language.
  • Ongoing operation, maintenance, and support
  • Team scales up and down with the need
  • Never more than one hour apart: same time as Switzerland (Poland) or one hour ahead (Ukraine)
  • The code stays yours: you can continue without us at any time
  • We are happy to keep advising you and to stay by your side on projects

Answered briefly

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost to have an MVP built?

CHF 6,000 fixed, plus 8.1% VAT. That covers scoping, preparation, the working day in Pfäffikon ZH, a testable prototype, plus all of the code and the documentation. Scoping runs 1 to 3 hours remotely. The coding day follows one to two weeks later, starts at 9:00 and runs open end, with food and breaks provided. Handover of the files, the Apple rollout, and the documentation follow no later than two days afterwards. For two weeks after the coding day we fix bugs that surface. That is bug fixing only, not new features. If you decide against it after scoping, we bill only CHF 500 plus VAT.

What is a testable core flow?

The smallest end-to-end action that lets a real test user try your central idea. For example: upload a document and receive an AI analysis, enter customer data and generate a quote as a PDF, or submit a request and notify the right specialist. We decide during scoping which flow fits into one day.

What does an AI workshop cost?

The price depends on duration, group size, location, and preparation. After a short call you receive a fixed offer in CHF, plus 8.1% VAT. The workshop runs from four hours up to a multi-day format and takes place on site at your offices. A fully remote workshop does not work well, so we offer a webinar in an adapted form instead.

Do we need technical experience?

No. The workshop is made for people without programming experience. For the MVP Coding Day you bring the idea, audience knowledge, and decisiveness. We handle the build.

Do we own the code afterwards?

Yes. You receive the complete project folder and all of the code. There is no proprietary codecook platform, so any other team or AI tool can continue from it.

Who builds it further once the MVP exists?

We put together the right developer team in Eastern Europe, mostly from Ukraine. That is how Trafa.App was built. From there the choice is yours: continue directly with the developers, or have us stay on as the link and quality gate.

Do we have to speak English with the developer team?

Only if you work with the developers directly: then the collaboration runs in English, which all of them speak. If you would rather not, we handle the technical coordination in the developers' own language and you keep talking only to us. For that we charge either a fixed monthly amount or by effort, depending on the size of the project.

What if our idea is too big for one day?

We clarify that in scoping before you book. We give a pragmatic, realistic read on what is achievable in a day and suggest a smaller slice or a different next step. If no format fits, we say so rather than walking you into a dead end.

Do you work with teams in Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein?

Yes, of course. We work with teams from Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. The second opinion and scoping run remotely. The workshop we run on site at your offices: within the greater Zurich area travel is included, further afield we are glad to travel and you additionally cover travel costs, hotel, and meals. Remotely we offer a webinar in an adapted form instead. The coding day takes place exclusively in Pfäffikon ZH, in the Zürcher Oberland region near Zurich. We run both the workshop and the MVP day in German and in English.

Why do you build prototypes on Apple, meaning macOS and iOS?

Because it is the shortest path to your testers. With TestFlight the app is on your devices the next day. We are happy to publish the test build through our own Apple Developer account. Apple caps those builds at 90 days, after which you need your own account or a fresh build. Whether the app is built cross-platform or Apple-native is decided during scoping. With a suitable cross-platform architecture, Android can often be added later with manageable extra effort; we establish the actual effort during scoping.

What access do you need for a web solution?

For hosting we use AWS (Amazon Web Services). Rolling out directly on AWS gives you the best foundation later on if you want to scale your product: capacity can be adjusted dynamically. Hosting and domain can sit with different providers, and domains typically run through AWS, GoDaddy, or Namecheap. If you already have a domain, please bring all the credentials or send them ahead of time. If you have no accounts yet, we set them up between scoping and the coding day, so the day on site starts with building instead of setup. Every account is registered to your company and you keep direct, full access. Nothing obliges you to keep working with us after the MVP day.

Not sure what fits?
Send us three sentences about your situation. We will tell you which format makes sense, or whether you need none of them.
