# codecook.ch: KI-Workshop, MVP & Zweitmeinung in Zürich

> codecook.ch is a two-person Swiss consultancy from Zürich offering three self-contained services: a hands-on AI workshop for teams, from four hours up to a multi-day format, a one-day MVP Coding Day that produces a testable app or web prototype (CHF 6,000, on site in Pfäffikon ZH), and a remote technical second opinion (CHF 1,000); all prices exclude 8.1% Swiss VAT. When an MVP should become a real product, codecook assembles a developer team in Eastern Europe, mostly from Ukraine; the client either pays a modest one-off placement fee and then works with and pays the team directly, or keeps codecook on as the link and quality gate.

### KI-Workshop / AI Workshop for companies
Hands-on AI workshop for whole teams: SMEs, functional teams (marketing, finance, HR, operations), executive teams, and engineering teams. Teams work on their own real tasks with current tools rather than sitting through slides.
- **Format**: tailored in length, from four hours up to a multi-day format, in three parts, understand, create an artifact, and build with VS Code.
- **Group size**: agreed for the specific team and format.
- **Location**: in house at the client's offices in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, or Liechtenstein. The remote alternative is an adapted webinar rather than the full hands-on workshop.
- **Prerequisites**: no programming knowledge required. For the coding part, participants should already have access to a current paid plan of ChatGPT or Claude; the free tiers are not sufficient.
- **Tools covered**: ChatGPT or Claude for chat and artifacts, then VS Code with an AI coding assistant.
- **Includes**: intro call, tailored examples, hands-on exercises, project files, and prompts for continuing afterwards.

### MVP Coding Day
A one-day, on-site build that turns an idea into a testable core flow for an app or website. Designed for startups and non-technical founders, plus innovation teams inside SMEs.
- **Outcome**: the smallest functioning market test. A real test user can complete the central flow independently with real code and logic through a testable web link or iOS build.
- **Example flows**: upload a document and receive an AI analysis; enter customer data and generate a quote as a PDF; submit a request and notify the right specialist. The actual flow is agreed during scoping.
- **Price**: CHF 6,000 fixed, plus 8.1% Swiss VAT. If the client decides against the build after scoping, only CHF 500 is billed.
- **Duration**: one working day on site, one to two weeks after a remote scoping call of one to three hours.
- **Location**: on site in Pfäffikon ZH; scoping and handover remote.
- **Bug fixing**: bugs that surface are fixed for two weeks after the coding day. Fixes only, no new features.
- **Deliverables**: one working core user flow, deployed to the client's domain or as an iOS build via TestFlight, plus full source code, Git repository, and documentation. No lock-in.
- **Not included**: a finished large-scale product, App Store release, full design system, legal texts, ongoing operations and support, third-party costs (domain, hosting, Apple Developer account).

An independent, technically grounded assessment of an idea, an existing app, or a planned AI project: feasibility, technical risks, a realistic scope, budget and timeline, and concrete next steps.

### Weiterentwicklung nach dem MVP / Long-term development after the MVP
When a tested MVP should become a real product, codecook continues the work with an established developer team in Eastern Europe, mostly from Ukraine, the same setup that built Trafa.App (approx. 1,300 hours of development).
- **Three valid next steps**: keep the prototype and test it first; hand code and documentation to an internal team or another agency; or continue with a team assembled through codecook's network.
- **What it covers**: team selection, continued feature development, ongoing operation, maintenance, and support beyond the one-day prototype.
- **Team selection**: codecook assembles the right team for the project from a long-standing partner network, scaled up or down to the need.
- **Two ways to run it**: (A) the client works directly with the developers, all of them speak English; or (B) codecook stays on as the link and quality gate, handles technical coordination in the developers' own language, and reviews the quality of what is delivered.
- **Not anonymous outsourcing**: if the client wants, Dima and Fönsi remain the contacts, take the technical lead, and review what is delivered.
- **Practicalities**: same time zone as Switzerland. With the direct model, the client works with and pays the English-speaking developers directly. With codecook as link and quality gate, technical coordination stays with codecook.
- **Price**: quoted per engagement. Effort, team size, and hourly rate are agreed transparently before work starts; there is no published rate.
- **No lock-in**: the client owns the code and the Git repository and can continue with any other team at any time.

## Working with codecook from outside Switzerland

codecook is based in Zürich and works with teams in Germany, Austria, and the
rest of Europe. The technical second opinion and all scoping are remote and
identical to a Swiss engagement. AI workshops run on site at the
client's offices. The MVP Coding Day is deliberately on site in
Pfäffikon ZH, because a shared day in one room reaches decisions faster than a
video call; scoping and handover around it stay remote, so only a single day of
travel is involved. Billing is in Swiss francs at a fixed price in every case.
